MEETING OF THE SECRETARIAL WORKING GROUP

The third meeting of the IUCAB Secretarial Working Group (SWG) will be held on 31 January 2008 in Luton, United Kingdom. The SWG Meeting is a once a year opportunity for the Secretaries of IUCAB Associations to get together to discuss matters of mutual interest in running their Associations and to pass on their findings to the Executive Committee of IUCAB and the Annual Meeting of IUCAB Delegates and Secretaries. Chairman of the meeting is IUCAB Vice President Mr. Paul Wakeling. Next to Mr. Jaap van Till who will also attend as Secretary-General of IUCAB, the Secretaries of the National Associations of Austria, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, Greece and the UK will participate at this year’s meeting. Items on the agenda are:

• development of mentorship-programme;
• Membership recruitment and retention;
• IUCAB Speakers List;
• IUCAB news contributions;
• do the national websites comply with the IUCAB requirements;
• Vision Group;
• the membership of the National Associations;
• magazine advertising.
